Question

I’m just coming off of a grueling but auspicious 2.5 day shoot with a crew of 4 for a travel show pilot. There were a lot of unknowns surrounding our interviews and what our subjects were going to be comfortable sharing with us, but every single one (5 in total) gave us absolute gold. Like pieces of a complicated puzzle that just fell into place like magic. We’ve got around 16 cards in total (broll, drone, etc included) and I can’t wait to start editing simply because we have exactly what we need from those interviews.

TLDR: I’m riding high off of a great shoot and I want to hear your stories of how a great interview(s) pushed your project from good to amazing.
