Question
Hi all, I’d love some advice. I’ve been working full time in video production/post for about 13 years, and I’ve worked in every department for at least a few days. I’m in the process of pivoting my business to be exclusively post production. I’m a solid editor and a decent colorist, and over the years I’ve had to do a fair amount of graphic design, motion graphics, and some 3D for various projects.
I’ll be spending the next year working to build my skillset and create a new reel, and I’m just wondering: where in your post workflow do you find yourself saying, “I wish I could find a dependable sub who’s great at xyz.” Thanks for your input!
