Question

Hi, I'm directing a web serie's pilot (self-funded). And we are shooting on a DSMC2 DRAGON-X and in a cost saving perspective I have a few questions for storage. Note that I'll also be the editor on the project.

It's a 4 day shoot and i'ts aimed at the web probably a 4k delivery (possibly 1080p).

1.Witch model of external hardrive should I buy to EDIT from it (i'll be using proxy obviously), and witch one to buy for backup, is 4tb gonna be enough or i need like 5tb ? External because my SATA ports in my pc are already full of harddrives that are also almost full. do I need an ssd, or with proxy, hdd are gonna be fine?

2.Considering my delivery, is 8:1 compression at 6k24p "overkill", would it be more sensible to shoot at 4k in 10:1 or 12:1 to save space? We'll be using Redcode raw still since well, it's kinda one of the main point of a Red.
